He was born on September 15, 1998, in Los Angeles, California, and attended Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California. Jackson began his college basketball career at the College of Central Florida. As a sophomore, he impressed with averages of 18.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He then transferred to Texas A&M, where he continued to develop his skills. As a senior, he averaged 10.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. In his final season at Texas A&M, Jackson led the team to the NIT final, averaging 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
Despite his strong college performance, Jackson went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. He began his professional career with the Washington Wizards' G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, during the 2022–23 season. He then joined the Windy City Bulls for the 2023–24 season. On March 4, 2024, Jackson signed a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers. He now splits his time between the Pacers and the Indiana Mad Ants, continuing to build his professional career with hopes of making a lasting impact in the NBA.
