# 2 Golden State Warriors [2018-19 season]
Entering into the 2018-19 season, Kevin Durant was a two-time NBA champion and had everything on his resume. However, the Warriors were one of the most dominant teams in the league and wanted to achieve a three-peat by winning another championship that season.
KD was an integral part of the Warriors' quest to achieve a three-peat. He averaged 26.0 PPG, 6.4 RPG and 5.9 APG while shooting 52.1% from the field. The former MVP went into the All-NBA second team and helped the Warriors to their fifth consecutive finals that season. However, injuries to Klay Thompson and him led to them losing their chance of achieving the three-peat against the Toronto Raptors.
# 1 Brooklyn Nets [ 2020-21 season]
Kevin Durant went to the Brooklyn Nets in 2019. However, his injury in the playoffs led to him being ruled out for the entirety of the 2019-20 season. The 2020-21 season was his debut campaign with the Nets team, which had one of the best rosters in the league.
KD averaged 26.9 PPG, 7.1 RPG and 5.6 APG while shooting 53.7% shooting from the field. He was also splendid from the three-point range as he shot 45.0% from the three-point range.
Despite injuries to Kyrie Irving and James Harden, Durant tried his level best to guide the Nets deep into the playoffs. However, he fell marginally short as his shoe stepped over the three-point line against the Milwaukee Bucks. It led to the game going into OT following which the Nets got gassed out and ended up losing the series.
