The Houston Rockets have one of the best defenders at the point guard position in Chris Paul and one of the most gifted offensive players in the league today at the shooting guard position in James Harden.

The duo form one of the most dangerous backcourts in the NBA today and win games for their team on a nightly basis. The Rockets were simply brilliant last season and finished with a 65-17 record. They made a deep playoff run and faced the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

The Rockets led the series 3-2 and were looking to upset the Warriors until a devastating hamstring injury to Chris Paul forced him to miss games 6 and 7 which proved to be the turning point as the Warriors went on to make a comeback and win that series 4-3. Harden and Paul look determined to take their team back to the Western Conference Finals this year and eventually lead their team to an NBA championship.
