A look back at Ray Allen's series-changing clutch three pointer from last year's NBA Finals

As we inch closer to the rematch series of the Finals between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, the clip of Ray Allen’s three point shot which decided the fate of late year’s Finals series has started going viral across social media.

Prior to the play the Spurs led by 3 with 15.5 seconds to go and were probably favoured to win the game and the series. But they didn’t account for Allen hitting a three after back pedalling towards the three point arc and receiving the ball from Chris Bosh who had just grabbed the offensive loose ball.

That play, initially called for a three point shot attempt from LeBron, could possibly be called the most heartbreaking moment in NBA Playoff histroy. It was the shot which fueled the Spurs to another Finals run and here we stand with both teams from last year’s Finals once again going head to head on the grandest stage of them all.
