#5 Steph Curry (again) passes his dad in list of all-time 3-pointer scorers list

Curry is on course to be the greatest 3-point shooter in NBA history

The fact that Curry crossed his father, himself a three-point shooting record holder, in three-pointers made in less than half the games, is edifying enough. The reigning MVP, who is in his sixth year in the league, has 1269 threes from 2885 attempts at an average of .440. His father, Dell, made 1245 in 1083 games. Staggering.

Curry has the best shooting average amongst the top 50 sharpshooters and if he continues in this form, he will, in fact, finish as the greatest shooter of all time. Curry is 36^th on the list currently, just one place and four threes away from the face of the NBA, LeBron James, who he will certainly overtake, perhaps, in his next game.
