Reginald Shon Jackson, popularly known as Reggie Jackson, was first drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 24th overall selection in the 2011 NBA Draft.


Over 68 games in the 2022/23 season for the LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets, Jackson averaged 10.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. He shot 41.1% from the field, including 33.3% from deep. He achieved an important milestone in his career by winning his first NBA championship with the Nuggets in 2023.


Alongside 2023 Finals MVP Nikola Jokic, Jackson will be hoping for another title run in 2024.

Reggie Jackson is currently plays for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. As per Spotrac, on February 9, 2023, the Clippers traded him to the Hornets in exchange for Mason Plumlee. However, the Hornets released his contract through a buyout. Jackson then signed with the Nuggets for the remainder of the season. He won his first NBA championship with them in 2023.


This offseason, he signed a two year contract with $10.25 million along with a player option for 2024/25 season. He will earn $5,000,000 from the 2023/24 season. Reggie Jackson debuted in the NBA with the Thunder. Throughout four seasons with the team, he competed in 245 games and averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He shot 43.1% from the field, including 28.8% from deep. On February 19, 2015, the team traded him to the Detroit Pistons through a three team deal involving the Utah Jazz.


Detroit Pistons (2015-2020)

Reggie Jackson debuted for the Pistons in February 2015. Over six seasons with the team, he competed in 299 games and averaged 16.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. He shot 42.5% from the field, including 35.4% from deep. During the 2014/15 season, Jackson was the first guard from the Pistons to have several triple doubles in a season following Isiah Thomas in 1986/87. He was also the first player from Pistons to achieve this following Grant Hill in 1997/98.


During the 2015/16 season, Jackson became the first Pistons player to have more than 30 points and more than 15 assists in a game following Isiah Thomas’ 40 points and 17 assists in 1988. He was eventually released through a buyout process on February 18, 2020.


Los Angeles Clippers (2020-2023)

Reggie Jackson’s third team in the NBA was the Clippers. Over three seasons and 211 games, Jackson averaged 12.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. He shot 41.4% from the field, including 36.4% from deep. He was then traded to the Hornets, which eventually led to him signing with the Nuggets.
