The Utah Jazz announced that he would undergo re-evaluation after four weeks. Ultimately, Gobert was sidelined for 11 games between November 11 and December 3, 2017, while playing for the Jazz.

Knee (December 2017)

In December 2017, Rudy Gobert suffered a sprained posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in his left knee during a game against the Boston Celtics on December 15. The injury occurred when his teammate Derrick Favors fell backwards into Gobert's leg, causing him to hit the floor in pain.
