
Rui Hachimura is a professional Japanese basketball power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2025 NBA season. He attended Meisei High School in Toyoma, Japan, where he began his basketball journey. After winning back-to-back high school tournaments, Hachimura was invited to play in the 2015 Jordan Brand Classic game.
