The Golden State Warriors could be preparing to make some moves before the February 9 trade deadline. The latest rumors suggest that the defending champions want to add size and shooting to improve their roster for another postseason run.

According to Monte Poole of NBC Sports, the Warriors are active in the trade market. Despite no impending moves, Golden State is looking for more shooting and a big man in the middle. Poole also mentioned that the Warriors are concerned about Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins.

Curry and Wiggins recently returned from injury that kept them out for several weeks. Both players are integral to the Warriors but would need more time to get their game back on track.

One of the players linked with the Golden State Warriors is Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers. Turner's name has been mentioned in many trade rumors, but remains with the Pacers at the moment. The two sides were even discussing a potential extension last month.

If the Warriors acquire Turner, he would add size and shooting. Turner is one of the best shot blockers in the NBA today. He can also shoot from beyond the arc, averaging 1.4 threes per game on 37.9% shooting.

NBA insider Marc Stein recently revealed that negotiations between Turner and the Pacers have broken down. That means it's possible that Indiana could trade him before the deadline rather than lose him for free in the summer.

James Wiseman has been criticized by many Golden State Warriors fans for failing to make an impact this season. Some even want him traded for a veteran player who can help the Warriors' championship defense.

However, C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle said on The Fast Break podcast (h/t Heavy Sports) that the Warriors still believe in Wiseman

"I don't think they are ready to give up on James Wiseman yet," Holmes said. "They have seen the slow progress he has made, and Bob Myers' two-timeline plan is still alive and well. They are riding this thing out."

Meanwhile, FanNation's Brett Siegel said on the same podcast that the Warriors are not looking to trade their young players. In addition to Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody have failed to fill the void left by Gary Payton II, Nemanja Bjelica and Otto Porter Jr.

"Based on the information I have and have gathered, it seems like this organization and front office is more than willing to sit back and watch other teams make moves unless they get an offer that they cannot refuse," Siegel said. "It just does not feel like James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga or Moses Moody are available right now."
