#3 Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors seem to have cracked the formula for a perfect build-up to the off-season. They have several high lottery picks, valuable NBA trade exceptions and significant future draft capital coming in from other teams.
As per NBA trade rumors, the Golden State Warriors are still undecided about what to do with their second overall pick. They could draft James Wiseman, a highly touted youngster, or make an NBA trade for a superstar to complement the likes of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.

#4 Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves hold the ultimate trump card this off-season: the number 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
It gives the Timberwolves front office a bevy of NBA trade options. The franchise has two superstars - D'Angelo Russell and Karl Anthony Towns - in its roster. The addition of a high upside talent like Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball could elevate the Timberwolves to the next level.
The other NBA trade option that the Wolves could opt for is to trade down the draft, save some money and select a player who might wind up being just as good as whoever went first.
NBA trade rumors suggest that the Wolves are in the market for a forward. In this regard, the acquisition of Aaron Gordon could ensure that the team has an off-season to remember.
#5 Phoenix Suns
The Western Conerence may be tougher than ever in 2020-21, but the Phoenix Suns are the most likely to make the jump from this year's lottery to next year's playoffs.
Phoenix Suns have $17.8 million in cap space at their disposal, which could swell with a potential Ricky Rubio or Kelly Oubre Jr. trade. The latter, who has been a part of NBA trade rumors recently, could on his way to the Golden State Warriors.
The Suns have several NBA trade options open and could pounce on a top free agent like Victor Oladipo or Fred Van Vleet to partner with rising star Devin Booker.
