The Houston Rockets have been the talk of the town in recent weeks, due to the blockbuster James Harden NBA trade which saw them acquire Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo. The former All-Star has been a impressive player for Houston, fulfilling the dual role of scorer and facilitator.
However, Oladipo is on an expiring contract and the Rockets are looking to move him. He has shown flashes of the form that earned him an All-NBA Third Team selection, and there are multiple franchises in the league who could use his services.

Austin Rivers was signed by the New York Knicks in the offseason to play the role of a key bench player and provide a strong a locker room presence. The former Rockets star has fulfilled his role, and recent NBA Trade Rumors indicate mutiple championship contenders are interested in acquiring him.
Rivers is a versatile player who can slot in at either of the two guard spots. He is a good shooter and playmaker, and can hold his own on the defensive end. The Brooklyn Nets have vacant spots on the roster, and Rivers would be a good addition to a star-studded squad.
