Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine has been the subject of trade rumors since last year. But he still finds himself with the Bulls halfway into the 2024-2025 season.
Amid continued speculation about LaVine's future in Chicago, the Bulls have reportedly made one of his teammates available for a trade. Per Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, forward Patrick Williams is on the market.
One fan believes that Patrick Williams could be part of a larger Zach LaVine trade package:

"Will likely be part of a larger Zach LaVine trade... Bulls have some decisions to make" they posted.
A couple of fans also want to see LaVine and Bulls center Nikola Vucevic added to the trade conversation:
"Trade Zach and Vuc too while you at it" the fan commented.
"Idc. Just get him out of Chicago. Attach him to Vooch or LaVine, or one of the role players" they shared.
A couple of fans even laid out some potential trade packages for the Williams, and Vucevic discussions:
"Bulls should trade Williams, Vucevic, and draft picks, to New Orleans for Zion and Theis" a fan suggested.
"Beal for Williams and Vuc" another fan replied.
However, one fan bluntly stated that Williams had no trade market.
"Nobody wants Patrick Williams," the fan said.
The NBA Trade Deadline is scheduled for February 6, 2025. The Bulls will have a lot of decisions to make about players like LaVine, Williams, and Vucevic, and will likely be working up until the deadline to make them.
Zach LaVine has the highest effective field goal percentage in the NBA in isolation sets
Zach LaVine is having the most efficient season of his career this year, setting highs in both field goal percentage (51.4%) and 3-point percentage (45.6%).
He is also leading the NBA in effective field goal percentage (a statistic that adjusts for 3-point field goals counting for more points than 2-point field goals) in isolation sets, ranking higher than other NBA stars such as Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Luka Doncic:
LaVine is having one of the best years of his career so far this year and has been a big name to watch in the NBA trade market. The Denver Nuggets were reportedly interested in the wing scorer, but that talk has since cooled.
LaVine has one more year on his contract after this season as well as a player option the following year if he chooses to accept. His contract may make it difficult to trade him for a salary-capped-out contender, but he will still be a name to watch this trade deadline as his stock is on the rise.
