Rumors about LeBron James joining Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors have resurfaced again. An NBA analyst predicted that Golden State will likely pursue James during the offseason.
LeBron and Steph found success playing with each other during the 2024 Olympic Games. The two stars won the gold medal for Team USA, which proves how good they are together.
NBA analyst Tom Haberstroh predicted the Warriors are likely to trade for James this coming summer. Golden State is actively looking for deals before this season's trade deadline to provide Curry with the key figures he needs to make another title run.
"I think this summer, the [Golden State Warriors] are gonna be trading for LeBron James," Haberstoh said at 43:55. "If they don't find their big fish, the Golden State Warriors, here at the trade deadline, if Mike Dunleavy Jr. doesn't figure it out... they're going to go after LeBron."

With that in mind, Haberstoh feels that the likelihood of Golden State making a trade during the offseason is more possible. The trade could involve Jonathan Kuminga, another Warriors player, and a few draft picks if they wish to secure James.
While the idea of Steph Curry and LeBron James teaming up sounds thrilling, the King expressed during his birthday interview that he plans on wrapping his career with the LA Lakers. If LeBron stays true to his sentiments, then Tom Haberstoh's prediction might not come to fruition.
Steph Curry sets new record in Warriors' matchup against 76ers
The Golden State Warriors went up against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. It was a dominant game for Golden State as they secured a huge 139-105 victory. Carrying the Dubs to triumphance was none other than their ace player, Steph Curry. Aside from the impressive display they showed against Philly, Curry set a new NBA record.
Steph's performance on Thursday was a double-double outing with 30 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal. He also shot perfect from beyond the arc, making all eight of his attempts, while shooting 73.3% from the field overall. Curry's impressive stats made him the first NBA player to shoot eight-for-eight from three-point lane while notching double-digit assists.
Steph Curry's historic performance helped the Warriors get back in the win column after defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Golden State is now set to take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. With Ja Morant still dealing with a shoulder injury, the Grizzlies might not have their star guard by their side this weekend.
