Jalen Cook is one of the most talented names in the transfer portal after the sophomore guard from Tulane had a huge season.
He averaged 19.9 points per game, which was 27th best in the country. He also averaged 2.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.
Cook is a 6-foot, 205-pound dynamic scorer who can be a huge contributor to a major program immediately upon arrival.
Cook is highly sought after in the portal.
The teams seeking his playing abilities are a lengthy one: LSU, Kansas, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Illinois, Ole Miss, TCU, Washington, Washington State, Memphis, Pitt, Minnesota, Xavier, Mississippi State, UCF and Oklahoma State.

Cook was Tulane’s leading scorer this season. He led the Green Wave to a 20-11 record. Its season ended in the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference tournament.
Other big names in the portal include North Carolina guard Caleb Love. Love had quite a run in the 2022 tournament, scoring 20-plus points in three games.
Cal Baptist guard Taran Armstrong is also a name to watch in the portal. The 6-5 point guard averaged double figures in scoring this season.
