The Sacramento Kings will be on the road to face the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. The Kings are coming off a 127-118 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. The win improved Sacramento’s record to 6-4, and the team is now placed 10th in the Western Conference standings.
While all Kings starters scored in double-digits against the Suns, DeMar DeRozan was the standout player with 34 points. Despite playing the second leg of a back-to-back on Monday, Sacramento is the favorite to win the game.
The Spurs have had a 4-6 start to the season and are placed 12th in the West. In their most recent game on Saturday, they suffered a narrow 111-110 loss to the Utah Jazz. Victor Wembanyama had 24 points and 16 rebounds, while Stephon Castle had 23 points.
The Kings vs. Spurs matchup is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. EST on Monday at Frost Bank Center. The game will air locally on FanDuel Sports Network - Southwest and NBCSCA. Fans can also stream it live on NBA League Pass and fuboTV.

Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs: Key matchups
Domantas Sabonis vs. Victor Wembanyama
These are two of the best big men in the league and will look to assert their dominance from the get-go. Sabonis is averaging 20.6 points, 13.0 points and 7.1 assists per game. While Wembanyama is nowhere as close as analysts expected him to be in his second year, he is averaging a healthy 18.3 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.0 blocks. He leads the league in blocks.
This should be an intriguing matchup, as both players have different strengths. While Wemby is excellent at protecting the rim, Sabonis is a great playmaker.
Rest of Sacramento starters vs. Chris Paul and Co.
This is where the Kings are expected to win the game. While Sabonis and Wembanyama are expected to negate each other, Sacramento’s depth should help the team get a win. De’Aaron Fox, who is one of the best clutch players in the league, is now arguably the third-best player in the team behind DeRozan and Sabonis.
While the Spurs have players such as Harrison Barnes, Castle and Chris Paul, they are unlikely to be able to compete with Sacramento’s depth.
