Samaki Walker Did What?!

Seeing former athletes get busted by the po-lice never gets old to me. Nothing shocks me anymore when it comes to the stupidity of athletes. The only thing that catches me off guard is hearing names of said ass-hats that you would only otherwise think about if you were watching old drafts on YouTube or NBA TV.

Samaki Walker’s white suit and top hate remain a top 10 draft night outfit ever.

When I heard the news of what Samaki Walker did on Thursday, I laughed out loud as if I was at a Bill Burr comedy show…

I know, I haven’t said the name Samaki Walker since the 90?s. It’s a similar time frame to when I last listened to Eiffel 65 for you music fans out there. When my friends and I talk about the ’96 NBA Draft, Walker’s name pops up and not just because he was drafted ahead of Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. It’s because of his classic draft night outfit. Joakim Noah’s seersucker suit has nothing on Walker’s white number with the top hat kicker.

The fact that Walker tried to eat his stash of marijuana as an officer approached him is beyond comical. Even if he ate all 10 grams, he still had liquid steroids and prescription drugs on him. Hey Samaki, why not eat it all and trip your ass off? You know that thought had to cross his mind when this was going down. Congrats Samaki, Greg Giraldo would be proud of this kind of substance abuse. Too soon?

Tell me, what does a washed up Samaki Walker need any kind of steroids for? He could have been taking the Barry Bonds package of PED’s when he was an NBA stiff and it wouldn’t have mattered. Bums are bums, and Samaki Walker is one of the biggest I have sen enter the association.

I’m sorry for you if you don’t find this story hilariously funny. I can only hope that this footage shows up on an episode of Cops at some point. Don’t even try and tell me that you wouldn’t at least DVR that episode. Just when you thought that you’d never hear the name Samaki Walker again, Mr. Top Hat goes and makes an ass of himself. Hey, it’s better than anything he ever did on an NBA court.
