Davis Bertans could be traded

Davis Bertans has spent the past three seasons with the Spurs and continues to make considerable strides to his game.

Over the 18-19 season, Bertans made 76 appearances (12 starts), averaging career highs in points (8.0), rebounds (3.5) and assists (1.3). The Latvian was also among the NBA's best three-point shooters as he connected with 43% of his attempts from beyond the arc.

However, according to Jabari Young of The Athletic, Bertans is attracting plenty of interest, and the Spurs may be open to a deal. The 26-year-old's current contract will expire at the end of the 19-20 season, and his ability to connect with threes combined with his modest salary ($7.0 million) could net the Spurs considerable assets in return.
Bertans' style of play would be better suited to a team such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, and trade talks are likely to ramp up in the coming days.
