#2 DeMarre Carroll is unlikely to leave ahead of the deadline
DeMarre Carroll joined the Spurs in a three-team trade back in July, although the veteran has failed to earn a spot in Popovich's rotation. Carroll has made just 15 appearances for the Spurs - averaging less than 10 minutes per game - and he has played a grand total of four minutes since the turn of the year. Due to his lack of minutes, Carroll has been linked with an exit, although Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors believes that the veteran is likely to see out the season in San Antonio:
Carroll’s value has probably taken a hit due to his absence from San Antonio’s lineup and his small-sample struggles. The Spurs also aren’t historically very active on the trade market during the season... With those factors working against a deal, Carroll will probably end up staying put through the deadline

Prior to his trade to the Spurs, Carroll impressed during a two-year spell with the Nets. Over 140 appearances (81 starts), the 33-year-old averaged 12.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per contest.
