#3 The Atlanta Hawks have considered making a move for Jakob Poeltl
Jakob Poeltl joined the Spurs back in the summer of 2018 as part of the blockbuster trade that sent Kawhi Leonard to Toronto, and the Austrian has established himself as a key component of Popovich's bench. At 24, Poeltl's best basketball is also seemingly ahead of him, and Michael Scotto of Bleacher Report is reporting that the Atlanta Hawks have previously expressed trade interest in the center:
Atlanta was interested in reacquiring Dedmon in a potential salary dump for Sacramento after he publicly demanded a trade from the Kings after being benched. The Hawks also expressed trade interest in Spurs center Jakob Poeltl earlier this season, Bleacher Report has learned.

Poeltl has played 41 times (7 starts) for the Spurs this season, averaging 4.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. He has also shot almost 60 percent from the field and it seems unlikely that the Spurs will be willing to let Poeltl leave as they focus on younger talent.
