San Antonio Spurs vs Chicago Bulls preview

The Spurs are coming off two back-to-back games against the Denver Nuggets. While they won the away contest 113-110 on Friday, they lost 122-111 (OT) at home on Saturday. The loss at home must have stung, but fans were impressed to see Victor Wembanyama hold his own against three-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

Wemby had double-doubles in both games. On Saturday, he put up 20 points, 23 rebounds and four blocks. San Antonio has split the last 10 games but has shown promising signs against teams such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bulls are coming off a 139-126 win against the New York Knicks on "Derrick Rose Night" on Saturday. Chicago rose to the occasion to honor Rose, as both Zach LaVine and Coby White had 33 points each.

Chicago has won six of its previous 10 games. It is, however, just 6-11 at home, which is concerning. This is a trend LaVine and Co. would like to change at the earliest, starting Monday.

San Antonio Spurs vs Chicago Bulls betting props

Victor Wembanyama’s points total is set at 26.5. The oddsmakers project him to go over, and so do we. Bet on the over.

Zach LaVine’s points total is set at 23.5, and he is projected to go under. LaVine scored 33 and 32 points in the last two games. While he should slow down a bit, we still expect him to score more than 24 points. So, take a risk and go over on this prop.

San Antonio Spurs vs Chicago Bulls prediction

The oddsmakers slightly favor San Antonio to get a win on the road. This should be a closely contested matchup. The Spurs should get the win eventually, given the fight they put up against the Nuggets. This should be a shootout with the team total going past 236.5 points.
