San Antonio Spurs vs Philadelphia 76ers: Key players
Victor Wembanyama
Perhaps the most exciting young prospect in the league is San Antonio’s most important player. Wembanyama leads the league in blocks with 3.8 per game. He also averages 24.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals.
The French phenom has been on a hot streak, averaging 29.0 points in the past five games. He could be key to a San Antonio win on Monday as well.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid didn’t play the last game, as he continues to sit out at least one game of back-to-backs. When he plays, he has been great in the recent past. Out of the past five games he has played, he scored 30 or more points in three matchups.
It will be interesting to see how he matches up against Wemby in a battle between two giants under the glass.
