The stage is set for the FIBA U-18 World Championship for Men and Women, to be held at Jakarta, Indonesia from 26 to 29 September 2013. A total of 32 men’s and 24 women’s teams have qualified to participate in the championship.
The 32 participating men’s teams are divided into the following four groups and the top four teams from each group will enter the pre-quarterfinals of the championship.

Apart from the men’s and women’s tournament, there will also be a mixed tournament, the Skills contest (women), the Dunk contest (men), the Shoot-Out contest (mixed) & the 2-Ball contest (mixed).
The Indonesian Basketball Federation with help from FIBA will host the championship at Jakarta.
