Warriors vs Mavericks recap: Steph Curry’s double-double not enough to stop Dallas
The Golden State Warriors hosted the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. It was another matchup between the Dubs and their former running mate, Klay Thompson. This time around, Thompson found himself having the last laugh as the Mavericks came out on top with a 143-133 finish.
Carrying the Mavericks to victory was Luka Doncic, who had an incredible triple-double performance. Luka “Magic” took over with 45 points, 13 assists, 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
Attempting to keep up with Doncic’s pace was Steph Curry. The Warriors star had a double-double performance, adding 26 points, 10 assists and five rebounds. However, his efforts weren’t on par with Luka’s performance.
Andrew Wiggins also put in a solid scoring effort, adding 29 points. Then there was Draymond Green (21 points) and Jonathan Kuminga (20 points) who both played their part in supporting Curry and Wiggins on offense.
