Steven Funaki Adams was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. The veteran center has since played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Pelicans and now the Memphis Grizzlies.

Lisa Adams is also the older sister of Steven Adams. She serves as a F37 shot putter and a F38 discus thrower. She is notable for winning the gold medal in shot put F37 at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai. She also won the gold in shot put F37 at 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
