The best 25 Sub-Junior (under-14) basketball players in India – in both the boys’ and the girls’ divisions – were invited for a special coaching camp at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi from December 10th-30th, 2011 by Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and Sports Authority of India (SAI) for National sub junior basketball camp – India camp . These camps help and prepare sub-juniors players for national and international tournaments in the future.
The sub-juniors are the youngest crop of competitive basketball players and had been picked for this camp from all over India on the basis of their performance at the 38th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship in Lucknow, in September 2011.

Sports Authority of India (SAI) coaches Rajeshwar Rao Kalva, SSP Rayadu for Boys and Bharat Bhusan and Sushil Kumar assisted Natt and Gaudet and guided players to tone-up their skills and techniques. Naved was the physiotherapist appointed for this camp.
On the concluding day, both sub junior boys and girls displayed their skills in an exhibition match against a Chhattisgarh school basketball state under-19 team, in the Indira Gandhi stadium.
