Terry William Rozier III is an American professional basketball player who plays as a point/shooting guard for the Miami Heat in the NBA.

Rozier was born on March 17, 1994, in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents Terry Rozier Sr. and Gina Tucker. He attended Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. A top player in high school, Rozier was voted 74th in recruiting ranking on ESPNU's Top 100 Players list in 2012.

Rozier initially committed to playing college basketball for the Hargrave Military Academy before deciding to play in Louisville. He averaged 7.0 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in 37 games as a freshman in Louisville and made the ACC All-Rookie Team that year. In his sophomore season, Rozier led his team in scoring with 17.1 points per game.

Terry Rozier was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 2015 NBA Draft with the 16th overall pick. He signed a rookie scale contract with them on July 27, 2015. After four seasons in Boston, Rozier was traded to the Charlotte Hornets on July 6, 2019. In 2021, Rozier was rewarded with a four-year, $97 million contract extension on August 24, 2021, by the Hornets.

Currently, Rozier dons jersey of the Miami Heat after getting traded on January 24th, 2024.

He also went six of 10 from deep.

Rozier's fourth 40+ game of his career up until now came against the New Orleans Pelicans on May 9, 2021. He scored his NBA career-high 43 points against them in 42 minutes. He had five rebounds, three assists, and one steal on the night, with an overall FG% of 61.5. He went seven of 11 from deep.

Rozier notched his fifth and final 40+ point game on December 29, 2023, against the Phoenix Suns in a regular-season matchup. In this outstanding performance, he scored 42 points, grabbed 4 boards, and dished out 8 assists. He went 14 for 22 from the field, with an exceptional 8 out of 12 from the deep. He also had a perfect record at the free-throw line, sinking all 6 attempts. However, despite Rozier's outstanding individual effort, the Hornets lost the game against the Suns.
