The Chosen One. The Prophecy. Who else could it be? The man named ' The Process' was always the front-runner to become the new Lord of the East. The light at the end of the tunnel to years of darkness in Philadelphia and a franchise long haunted by failure and defeat. Like LeBron he carries a great story inspiring the city of Philadelphia, to truly "Trust the Process".

An iconic representative of a city he's not even from, Joel Embiid may have been one of the most hyped draft picks since LeBron himself. Embiid however, is much more than excitement, while he does more than his share of talk and certainly isn't the most humble player, he is far from an empty vessel, carrying one All-Star Selection (2018), an All-NBA Second Team selection and NBA All-Defensive first team honours. Embiid is big, flashy, extremely charismatic and by far the most marketable player on this list.

Being arguably the second best centre in the NBA, Embiid brings a lot of talent and has a supporting cast of princes, with Rookie of The Year, Ben Simmons, and the top pick in the 2017 Draft; Markelle Fultz. Despite taking a late injury hit to Embiid last season, Philly went hard and continued their good run to end with a 16-game win streak.

They finished with the third seed and despite exiting in the second round, this very young team looks a certain Eastern Conference dynasty in the upcoming years. Embiid is a symbol of the dreams of the 76ers fanbase and a testament of the hard work of the Philadelphia 76ers front office. If he can avoid the injuries that have plagued him in these first few seasons, there is a certainty in believing he will become the Alpha Male in the East.
