Thomas Bryant is a 6 feet 10 inches center who plays for the Miami Heat in the NBA. He was the second-round pick out of Indiana in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Last season, Bryant played an important role for the Lakers when Team starter Anthony Davis was sidelined by some injury. He put up a tremendous effort on both ends of the floor and emerged as a leading contributor to the team. He averaged a third-career-best 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game.

Mid-way through the 2022/23 season, he was traded to the Denver Nuggets. The addition of Bryant into the strong core has provided a backup for the reigning Team’s MVP Nikola Jokic. He appeared in 18 games for the Nuggets and averaged 4.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.1 assists per game on shooting 48.5% from the field including 44.4% from the 3-point line. Thus, he assisted the team to cling to the franchise's first NBA title.

Bryant signed a two-year deal worth $5.3 million in total with the Miami Heat which also includes a player option in the second year and will be an unrestricted free agent in the 2025 off-season.

On January 22, 2023, the former Nuggets center put up a career-high 31 points against the Portland Trail Blazers in a 121-112 win. After a dominating playoff run, the Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat in a five-game series and won the championship title.

In 2023 free agency, Bryant was traded by the Denver Nuggets to the Miami Heat. After playing two seasons of college basketball, the Heat center entered the NBA Draft and was selected by the Utah Jazz and traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on the same draft night. He signed a rookie scale contract with the Lakers and played for the Lakers affiliate, South Bay Lakers for one year thus, inducted into the All NBA-G League First Team.

In 2019, Bryant was traded to the Washington Wizards and signed a three-year $25 million contract. Thereafter, he returned to the Lakers for the second stint was marred by unfortunate injuries and later joined the Denver Nuggets for the latter half of the season.

As a freshman, he averaged 11.9 points, and 5.8 rebounds per game on shooting 68.3 % from the field which also includes an impressive 33.3% from the 3-point line. Thus, he made it to the Big Ten All-Rookie First Team.
