Thomas Bryant is an American center who plays for the Miami Heat in the NBA. During his college and professional career, he has been the kind of player who brings a lot of energy into the court. Additionally, he is effective under the basket and defends the post with relative ease. After agreeing to a rookie scale contract with the Lakers, he spent a year playing with their affiliate, the South Bay Lakers and was named to the All NBA-G League First Team.

Bryant signed a three-year, $25 million contract with the Washington Wizards after being traded to them in 2019. After that, he made a second, regrettable spell back with the Lakers, before spending the second half of the season with the Denver Nuggets.

In this year's free agency, the Miami Heat rewarded the center with a two-year deal, worth $5.2 million, and is set to earn a salary of $2.5 million guaranteed this season alone.

Thomas Bryant Rings

Bryant has won an NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets in the 2022/2023 season. He became the eighth Indiana Hoosiers player to snag an NBA title when the Nuggets eliminated the Miami Heat in a five-game series.

After a mid-season trade from the LA Lakers, the center joined the Nuggets. He was an active roster member who was consistently contributing to the team. However, he didn't get any chance to showcase his potential as the playoffs started. Throughout the season, he appeared in 18 games and averaged 4.6 points, and 3.3 rebounds, recording 48.5% accuracy from the field including 44.4% from the deep.

Thomas Bryant Draft

The Heat center was a second-round pick (42nd overall) out of the Indiana Hoosiers team by the Utah Jazz in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Bryant went to the University of Indiana after completing High School at Huntington Prep where he was a five-star recruit. He was a McDonald's All-American player in 2015. As a freshman, he scored an average of 11.9 points, and 5.8 rebounds on shooting an impressive 68.3% from the field in 35 games. Thus, made it to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team, and Big Ten All-Third Team.

He continued with the Hoosiers for his sophomore season and averaged 12.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in 34 games. He also shows a 51.9% accuracy from the field which also includes 38.3% from beyond the arc.
