After his successful school year making him a prospective recruit, Thon Maker decided to try his luck in the NBA. He was picked by the Milwaukee Bucks at 10th overall in the NBA draft of 2016.
In his rookie year, he scored his first season-high 16 points against the Phoenix Suns. Maker played for the Bucks till 2019 when he requested a trade due to getting less time on the court,
Maker was then traded to the Detroit Pistons, he played for them for a year before turning into a free agent. His overall game improved drastically over the years. His improved catch-and-shoot game made the Cleveland Cavaliers decide to get him. He has incredible star capability and strong backing from his supporters.
