#2 Dennis Schroder
Before joining the Thunders in the summer of 2018, Dennis Schroder had spent the majority of his career as a starter.
Nevertheless, the point guard has been more than willing to accept a backup role to Russell Westbrook, and the German has quickly established himself as one of the best reserve guards in the entire NBA.

Schroder has contributed 15.4 points, 4.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game, although the 25-year-old's future has been questioned due to his large salary. Schroder still has two seasons left on the 4 year, $70 million contract that he signed with the Hawks back in 2016, and it is worth noting that the Thunder already have one of the highest payrolls in the NBA.
Due to this, Schroder's long-term future may not be in Oklahoma City, however, it makes very little sense for OKC to trade him away when they are in such a strong position, and Schroder will stick around until at least the summer.
