Considered one of the most underrated Power forwards in the league, Tobias Harris has come a long way in his career from being traded four times in seven years to becoming a seemingly permanent fixture of Philadelphia’s offense.

Harris began his basketball journey by joining Half Hollow Hill High School in Dix Hills, New York and worked hard to hone his craft with the help of quality guidance and coaching. Playing three of his four final years for Half Hollow Hills, Harris finished his HS career averaging 24.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, two assists, and 1.4 steals.

During his lone season at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Harris displayed top-tier gameplay, athleticism, and dedication to his craft, scoring 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.9 blocks. His performance as part of the Tennessee Volunteers earned him HS Parade All-America and SEC All-Freshman team selections.

After declaring for the 2011 NBA Draft, he got picked 19th overall by the then-Charlotte Bobcats and began his professional career in the National Basketball Association.

Tobias Harris Height

Standing at 6 feet 8 inches tall, Harris has all the key attributes that make him a key piece of the 76ers offense. During his time with the Magic and the Clippers, Harris served as the rim attacking forward who scored from the paint, in isolation, and also from mid-range and beyond the three-point line. His versatility on both ends of the floor works to empower the 76ers offense.

Tobias Harris Weight

Weighing just under 230 lbs (104 kg), Harris is a well-built top-level athlete, making him an ideal offensive fit for seemingly any team he plays for. The 76res definitely benefit from it when Harris blows by defenders for a layup, scores from beneath the basket courtesy of clever passes, bait the opponent guarding him to follow him in the paint only to quickly step back and pull up for an easy two points, etc.

Harris is also a skilled catch & shoot, and off-the-dribble long-range shooter. The guy can score from all the levels on the court. He is a triple threat on offense and also dishes out dimes at the drop of a hat, making him an offensive juggernaut.

Tobias Harris Wingspan

Harris has a wingspan measuring 6 feet 11 inches. His long arms give him enough leverage to contest against players for possession on the perimeter, get in passing lanes to score steals, and block shots at the rim. Harris is also an effective rebounder whom the team can count on during situations where the difference between victory and defeat is one offensive rebound and a three-point play.

Being a 13-year veteran of the game at just 31, Harris still has a lot left within him to offer to the sport of Basketball. Newcomers today can easily look up to him for hard work, discipline, skill, and inspiration.
