Last Modified Nov 10, 2023 08:39 GMT

Tobias Harris is an American professional basketball player who plays as a power forward in the NBA. He is a versatile player who has played for multiple teams in the league. In 2011, Harris was selected with the 19th overall pick by the Charlotte Bobcats. However, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks on draft night.

Over the two seasons with the Bucks, Harris showcased his ability to score and contribute on both ends. He was later traded to the Orlando Magic, where his playing time increased.

In February 2016, Harris was traded to the Detroit Pistons. This move proved to be pivotal, as with Harris on the roster, the Pistons reached the playoffs for the first time since 2009. Unfortunately for the team, they lost in the first round to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Harris was traded again in 2018. This time to the Los Angeles Clippers along with Boban Marjanović. During his time with the Clippers, Harris' skills grew impressively. He averaged around 20.3 points in the two seasons with the franchise.

Tobias Harris Team

Tobias Harris currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers.

With the 76ers, Harris led the team to reach five consecutive playoffs. His impressive height of 6 feet 7 inches has helped him to play a key part on both ends. His length allows him to shoot over most defenders with relative ease, and also play solid defense.

In the 2022/23 season, Harris continued to be a reliable player for the 76ers, appearing in 74 games. He maintained a strong performance, averaging 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. He shot 50.1% from the field, including 38.9% from deep.

A highlight of Harris’ career came on January 6, 2023, when he achieved his 10,000th career point in a game against the Washington Wizards. Along with superstars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, Harris will be looking to lead the team for a deep playoff run in 2024.
