Billy Cunningham is responsible for the Philadelphia 76ers' last two NBA titles in 1967 and 1983. He coached Julius Erving, Moses Malone, and Maurice Cheeks to a historic NBA Finals in 1983 against Pat Riley's LA Lakers featuring Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and swept them in four games. This is only one of two championships in the 1980s to not be won by either the Lakers or the Celtics.

Phil Jackson coached two of the most notable figures in the NBA, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. One of the most astonishing facts about Phil Jackson is that he has had three 3-peats, two with the Chicago Bulls and one with the LA Lakers. Jackson was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007 and he won two more rings after that in 2009 and 2010.
