Philadelphia 76ers might think twice before signing Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler has earned a bad boy reputation in the NBA. He was traded by the Chicago Bulls to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he led a one player mutiny and managed to get himself traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

He might not be as great of a scorer as Klay, but his defensive traits along with the never give up attitude with the clutch scoring has made him one of the top free agents in 2019.

His season has been derailed with niggling injuries since he missed the preseason and the training camp. His start in Philadelphia has been great, joining forces with Simmons and Embiid has made them a title contender.

When he joined the 76ers, it was widely reported that he will re-sign with the 76ers. But with reports surfacing of his clashes with coach Brett Brown, they might reconsider signing him in the off-season, opening up a huge number of opportunities for Butler.

He is averaging 19.6 points, along with 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists as well. If 76ers can manage a finals run, they might bite the bullet and sign him but this seems to be an intriguing case.
