Toronto Raptors seem to have gotten the better deal in the blockbuster trade of the summer

Kawhi Leonard has been one of the best players in the NBA this season. After his blockbuster trade from the San Antonio Spurs to the Toronto Raptors, he has been performing exceptionally.

He has been the driving force of a superb roster, taking them to the top of the Eastern Conference standings, with a 33-13 record.

After his injury-riddled season last year, Kawhi has bounced back in the best way possible. He is averaging a massive 27.6 points per game for the Raptors.

He has been cleaning up the glass as well, getting 8 rebounds a game too. He has never been a big playmaker and with Lowry being the primary ball handler, he doesn't need to be, averaging 3 assists a game.

In the most recent game, a loss to the Boston Celtics, Kawhi scored 33 points in just 36 minutes, along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Kawhi has also been one of the best defenders in the league and has continued doing that this season too, as he had 4 steals in the game.

The Raptors will be hoping to bounce back in their next game against the Phoenix Suns and Kawhi will be hoping to play them towards a win.
