There is nothing wrong in LaVar believing in his son who has the chance to develop into a really good player in the league. Even though LaVar showed a shred of humility by recognizing that many other players in the NBA will have size advantage over Lonzo which could prove unfavorable in a one-on-one match-up, this is still peak outlandish.

It is simply sacrilegious to put Lonzo in the same breath as LeBron James and Russell Westbrook right now who are unarguably two of the top 5 players in the league. Forget being the best player in the world, he might not even be the best player in his own team behind Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram and now of course LeBron.
