A 3-time NBA champion, 2-time Finals MVP, 3-time MVP, 12-time All-Star, Larry Bird is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He played 13 seasons in the NBA, spending his entire career with the Celtics.
He averaged 24.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. He was also a member of "The Dream Team" that won the gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He is part of the 50-40-90 club for the years 1987 and 1988.

He enjoyed the same success as the coach of Indiana Pacers after his retirement as a player. He won the NBA Coach of the Year award in 1998. He also won the NBA Executive of the year award in 2012.
As a player, he had 59 triple-doubles in the NBA and is #7 on the list of All-Time triple-double leaders.
