#2 Derrick Rose - Detroit Pistons
Back in 2017, Derrick Rose was on the verge of retiring following a disappointing spell with the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, Rose opted to remain in the league and managed to rebuild his career during a resurgent stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Rose's form with the Timberwolves convinced the Pistons to award him a two-year, $15 million contract last summer, and the point guard has returned to All-Star contention following an excellent start to life in Detroit. However, with the Pistons unlikely to reach the playoffs, the team is believed to open to trading their best assets, and Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports believes the Lakers are among the teams interested in signing Rose:

The Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and multiple teams with championship aspirations have expressed interest in trading for Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Rose has managed to stay healthy for much of the season, missing just six of Detroit's opening 46 games. Despite playing a relatively low 26.3 minutes per game, Rose has managed 18.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game - while also shooting a career-high 49.7 percent from the field.
