1) Steph Curry is the Under Armour icon
Steph Curry signed a contract with the footwear company in 2013. Back then, he was a great player, but far from the superstar that he is today. After Nike botched their presentation, the Golden State Warriors guard decided to sign with their competitor.
Curry's contract with the popular brand runs through 2024 and he will most likely negotiate another deal after that. According to rumors, Curry's next contract with the footwear company could exceed $1 billion.
2) Joel Embiid signed his contract in 2018
Joel Embiid is one of the best big men in the NBA. Despite a rocky start to his professional career that was marked with many injuries, the Philadelphia 76ers superstar has managed to establish himself as a top-tier player.
Embiid signed his contract with Under Armour in 2018. This was another great acquisition by the company as the big man has since become one of the most popular players in the NBA.
3) Kelsey Plum's contract with the company
Kelsey Plum of the Las Vegas Aces is the newest member of the Under Armour family. The WNBA star signed a contract with the footwear company on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
After averaging a career-high 20.2 points last season, the 28-year-old point guard rightfully earned a new endorsement. Plum was the first overall pick in the 2017 WNBA draft.
4) Dennis Smith Jr. is another young star
Dennis Smith Jr. signed a contract with the Charlotte Hornets last offseason and he's been great for the team so far. The 24-year-old guard is averaging 12.3 points and a career-high 6.4 assists.
Smith Jr. signed a contract with Under Armour shortly after he was drafted. The footwear company picked up several other great prospects from the 2017 draft class, including Josh Jackson and Terrance Ferguson.
5) Mo Bamba is a great pickup by the company
The footwear company signed Mo Bamba at the very start of his NBA career. The 7-footer with an incredible wingspan was a great acquisition by Under Armour and could become the next star in the league.
The big man was amazing last season as he averaged 10.6 points and 8.1 rebounds with the Orlando Magic. His role on the team has been smaller this year, but he still does a decent job.
