#3 Dallas Mavericks
John Wall for Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis hasn't done as well as hoped in Dallas. Luca Doncic needs help if the Dallas Mavericks are to advance past the first round, and while John Wall and his speed are not a good mix with Luca's laid back game, John Wall will take the ball out of Luka's hands in spots to give the phenom a rest on the floor. Defensively, John Wall would be an upgrade as well.
#2 New York Knicks

New York has always been a trading destination for any star player, and after the blockbuster deals that landed both Russell Westbrook and John Wall in Houston, surely the combo guard is prepared for the big stage of Madison Square Garden. The business side of basketball has been known to John Wall after the 2010 draft that landed him in Washington with the Wizards, so why not take advantage of the city that never sleeps? Crazy as it sounds, John Wall fits in New York. He's a much better point guard than Elfrid Payton or Immanuel Quickley, and having John Wall beside Kemba Walker fixes a lot defensively -- while giving Kemba more room to score.
#1 Los Angeles Clippers
Reggie Jackson and rookie Jason Preston are the only point guards on the Clippers roster. Paul George's usage rate will increase this season as Kawhi Leonard rehabs, so to eliminate fatigue late in games or the season for Playoff P, add John Wall. The Clippers have a bunch of contracts they could deal to Houston -- who clearly are in a rebuilding stage to make it work in Los Angeles. John Wall is exactly the veteran star the Clippers need to compete with their Staples Center roommate, the Los Angeles Lakers. John Wall and Paul George are cool with each other as well, so this seems like a natural move that would work and give the Clippers a dependable two-way player that will make a difference in the playoffs.
