Ja Morant entered his very first NBA playoffs during the 2020-21 season. There was much expectation from him, and the 22-year-old certainly lived up to that by putting up some incredible numbers against the Utah Jazz. Morant scored 47 points on the night, and shot 15-26 from the field during one such game in the said postseason series.

Ja Morant was unbelievable on the night, as he kept attacking the rim, and made it extremely tough for the Utah Jazz defenders. This performance from him is the best playoff performance by any player aged 21 or less in the league's history.

Earlier, LeBron James held this record when he registered 45 points in the 2006 NBA Playoffs. However, Morant's record-breaking night was not enough to help the Grizzlies to a win, as they were beaten 141-129 by the Utah Jazz.
