#3 Stephen Curry has the highest-scoring season for a player on the 50/40/90 club
Stephen Curry is one of the nine members of the 50/40/90 club. His shooting split from the 2015-16 NBA season (50.4/45.4/90.8) made him the seventh player to achieve the feat since threes were introduced in the 1979-80 season.
The club includes players like Larry Bird and Steve Nash, the only players to have achieved the feat multiple times, as well as Reggie Miller, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant.

Among the nine NBA players who have had a 50/40/90 campaign, Stephen Curry has the highest average of points per game in such a year, with his league-leading 30.1 in the 2015-16 campaign. He is the only player to average at least 30 points in a 50/40/90 season.
#2 He is one of three players to lead the NBA in points and steals in the same season
Stephen Curry won his second NBA scoring title in the 2020-21 season, putting him in fifth place for most scoring titles in league history, tied with eight other players (including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Bob Pettit).
Curry is one of 18 players to win multiple scoring titles in NBA history. However, when he won his first scoring title in the 2015-16 campaign, he also led the NBA in steals per game, making him only the third player in league history to do so.
Michael Jordan did it three times in his career, while Allen Iverson did it twice. Curry is clearly not known as a lockdown defender, but he is alert on defense and averages 1.7 steals per game in his career.
#1 Stephen Curry is one of six players to win his first NBA MVP the same year he won his first NBA title
The 2014-15 NBA season was surely the most important of Stephen Curry's career, as it is probably the one that defines his legacy so far.
Back then, Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a 67-15 record and the top spot in the entire NBA. He averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds and two steals per game in 80 regular-season appearances. Then, he led the team through the 2015 NBA Playoffs and to the 2015 NBA championship.
Before his titles with the Golden State Warriors super team, Curry was already a champion with the Warriors.
By winning the 2015 NBA MVP and the championship, Curry became the sixth player in league history to win his first MVP and his first title in the same campaign (along with Bob Cousy, Willis Reed, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O'Neal).
