The Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons face each other on Saturday for the third time this season. Toronto, which lost the first two encounters, will hope to break through against the hosts. Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and Jakob Poeltl will lead the Raptors.
Meanwhile, the Pistons will look to bounce back following a 107-104 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, which ended their five-game winning run. A victory by Detroit will secure them the season series. Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren, Malik Beasley and Tobias Harris are cleared to play against the Raptors.

Toronto Raptors vs Detroit Pistons: Key matchups
Cade Cunningham vs Immanuel Quickley
Cade Cunningham against Immanuel Quickley is the matchup to watch out for in the Raptors-Pistons game. The two point guards run the show on offense for their respective teams.
The Pistons have proven quite tough to beat when Cunningham sizzles. He has the size advantage over Quickley, so how the Raptors point guard deals with that will be interesting.
The former Knick, though, is the faster player who will test Cunningham’s defense in the open court. Quickley can slide to the shooting guard spot when Scottie Barnes becomes the hub of the Raptors' offense, so Cunningham can’t afford to slack on defense against his counterpart.
RJ Barrett vs Ausar Thompson
Slowing down RJ Barrett, the Raptors’ leading scorer with a career-high 23.1 points per game, will fall on the shoulders of Ausar Thompson. The lefty forward can score anywhere on the court, making him a tough assignment for Thompson.
Ausar Thompson has been solid on the defensive end for the Pistons this season. He has become their primary stopper against the opposition's best wings. Detroit could bounce back from its loss to the Dubs if Thompson can slow down Barrett.
Scottie Barnes vs Tobias Harris
Ausar Thompson could spend time shadowing Scottie Barnes, but Tobias Harris likely gets the first crack at the versatile Raptors forward. Harris and Barnes have had tough showdowns over the years, so the next duel will add another page to their one-on-one battles.
Barnes is younger, but Harris often plays well against him. The Toronto Raptors need Barnes to win this matchup to have a better chance of beating the Detroit Pistons.
