The Toronto Raptors and LA Lakers close their season series on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena. The Lakers beat the Raptors in their first meeting in Toronto on Nov. 1 by a 131-125 margin. Anthony Davis was the star of the night with a season-high 38-point night. He added 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocks while shooting 14 of 20.
The Lakers had a 43-19 advantage in the first quarter and closed the half with a 25-point lead. However, they nearly blew that in the second half as the Raptors stormed back in the third quarter and continued that momentum halfway through the fourth.
The Lakers somehow managed to keep their lead intact down the stretch after a defensive lapse. The Lakers remain favorites again to win but must ensure they don't allow the Raptors back into the game like last time.
Toronto has been an excellent second-half team, and JJ Redick's team must prepare for it, especially after a rough week, where it went 2-6.
