Trey Alexander is an American basketball player who is plying his trade with the 2023 NBA Champions, Denver Nuggets. He played for the Creighton Bluejays during his collegiate career. He was born in the city of Oklahoma where he attended Heritage High School and was a standout basketball candidate as the Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year. As a 4-star recruit, Alexander was recognized for his offensive versatility and basketball IQ.

Alexander transitioned to college basketball, playing for Creighton University, immediately tasting success as a part of the Big East Conference All-Freshman team. He was named as the starting point guard for his team in the event of his teammate’s injury and was the starting shooting guard for the Bluejays in his sophomore year at college.

Trey Alexander Wingspan

At the NBA Draft Combine 2024, Trey Alexander recorded a wingspan of 6 feet and 4 inches. He also measured a standing reach of 8 feet and 5.5 inches.

Alexander’s wingspan ranked second amongst the shooting guards of his draft class, standing behind Jaxson Robinson who has a wingspan of 6 feet and 11.25 inches. A higher wingspan for a shooting guard helps Alexander with his ability to reach for the ball and contest shots at the perimeter. It would also allow him to have an inside presence on the offensive and defensive end, allowing him to become a more versatile player.
