Tristen Jamal Newton, born on April 26, 2001, is an American college basketball sensation who most recently played for the UConn Huskies in the Big East Conference from 2022 to 2024. Starting his collegiate journey with the East Carolina Pirates, Newton showcased immense talent early on. Excelling at Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, he dominated the court, amassing an impressive 3,266 points and leading the state in scoring during his senior year with an average of 37.2 points per game.

Transitioning to East Carolina, Newton swiftly made his mark, setting records and garnering attention with his dynamic play. As a junior, he averaged 17.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5 assists per game, earning him a spot on the All-American Athletic Conference second team.

With a coaching change prompting his transfer, Newton chose UConn, where he quickly became a vital asset. Making history as the first player in program history to achieve two triple-doubles, he played a pivotal role in guiding the Huskies to their back-to-back fifth and sixth NCAA championships in 2023 and 2024. Despite initially considering the NBA draft, Newton's dedication to UConn remains unwavering, exemplified by his stellar performance and record-breaking achievements.

Aaron Jones, who plays as a running back, was drafted into the NFL in 2017 by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round. He spent the first seven seasons of his career in Green Bay before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2024.

As for Alvin Jones, he too plays professional football, but he went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was later signed for the 2018-19 NFL season by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent but his NFL journey came to an end within a year.
