Tyler Herro is a professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the Miami Heat. He was drafted with the 13th overall pick by the Miami Heat in the 2019 NBA Draft. Herro went to the University of Kentucky and displayed exceptional skill and composure on the court. He earned the SEC Newcomer of the Year award in 2019 while playing for Kentucky.

With the Heat, Herro did not disappoint in his first NBA season, immediately making an impact and helping the Heat achieve an impressive 44-29 record. In his first playoff, he was exceptional and led the team to the NBA Finals. The team appeared against the Los Angeles Lakers but fell short in the Finals.

In his sophomore season, he increased his scoring average to over 15 points per game while shooting efficient percentages from the field. Though the Heat had an up-and-down 2020-21 season, they still qualified for the playoffs before being swept in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks.

This past 2022-23 season, Herro took yet another leap forward, earning the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award with his career-best 20.7 points per game scoring average. His exceptional play helped the team to another NBA Final run, but the Miami Heat was defeated by the Denver Nuggets in five games.
