College Success and NBA Draft

Selecting Iowa State University as his preference, Tyrese Haliburton's game continued to flourish. Although he could not make much impact in his 1st season with the team, his sophomore season was particularly remarkable. He averaged 15.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game as a sophomore, displaying all-around performance at a young age.

His offensive and defensive plays helped the Sacramento team win close contests, earning Haliburton a huge fan following. He was a central piece in the mega-deal for Sacramento’s acquisition of Domantas Sabonis.

Moving to the Indiana Pacers, Haliburton was handed a new and more offensive role. He replied with a great 2023 season performance, delivering his career-best 20.7 points and 10.6 assists per game average. Haliburton also made his debut in an All-star game in the same season, with his versatile gameplay.
