The Iowa State guard started his professional NBA journey with the Sacramento Kings for two seasons, where he was on the NBA All-Rookie First team in his debut year. Then, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers in the blockbuster deal involving Lithuanian center, Domantas Sabonis.

Only a few weeks left for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, and coach Steve Kerr has disclosed the USA's line-up. The team played their first practice match in the training camp against Puerto Rico. USA highly dominated in the overall score (117-74), Halliburton and Anthony Edwards were the two key players of the match. Halliburton came off the bench and within a limited playtime, he delivered 12 important assists, and Edwards also posted an impressive 15 points.

Additionally, the USA will face off the Luka Doncic-led, Slovenia on August 12, as the second match of their training camp.

Tyrese Halliburton, 23, plays at the position of Point or Shooting guard for the Indiana Pacers. The guard is on the 12-man roster for Team USA in the World Cup.

After Playing his first All-Star for Team LeBron representing the Eastern Conference last season, the guard is ready to replicate his dominance in the upcoming FIBA World Cup. This will be the second time when the guard will don the country color since the 2019 U19 Basketball World Cup, where the team won the gold medal in Greece.
